My 2 youngest girls actually call one of their favortie colors "chocolate" instead of brown!

I have a friend who was always super skinny, too. After each of her 4 babies she would just "go for a walk everyday" and be back to her skinny self in no time. The clock (and the drive-through) have caught up to her. She can no longer eat whatever she wants and now wants to know how I am losing so well! LOVE THAT!!!

And don't you just get a salad sometime so you can have a big ol' dessert?! :Dnoellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13587354790255284059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4825171977250439280.post-72227344598386210022007-04-25T12:04:00.000-05:002007-04-25T12:04:00.000-05:00Ever since I start WW with you last year I have co...Ever since I start WW with you last year I have come a long way. Before I started WW I didn't have an appreciation for sweets. I didn't really truely appreciate any food like I do now. I took it all for granted and ate whatever I wanted when I wanted. Now, when it is time to use my flex points, I really take my time and pick out the best possible combinations of treats. Having a chocolate bar on the weekend along with maybe a burger from Wendy's is like heaven now. Whereas before that would be a 3 to 4 time a week ritual.

Anyway, my point is I like my sweets as much as anybody, I just never really appreciated them before. Actually I pretty much like any food now.

HubbyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4825171977250439280.post-5476315870483170802007-04-25T11:39:00.000-05:002007-04-25T11:39:00.000-05:00Gah - well said about the people who don't have to...Gah - well said about the people who don't have to worry about sweets and junk. One of my best girlfriends is stick-thin, has two kids and has a kitchen that looks like a candy store and bakery rolled into one (and she eats it all - all the time!)

Lol, and dishing about amazing food is so much fun - I thought I was the only person who wants to photograph her dinners and send pictures to friends. :)

Your fajita dinner looks so yummy. I like doing theme meals. :)mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13219292215575593010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4825171977250439280.post-73279930273051700672007-04-25T11:11:00.000-05:002007-04-25T11:11:00.000-05:00Hmm, maybe I shouldn't mention that I'd rather hav...Hmm, maybe I shouldn't mention that I'd rather have chips over a chocolate bar... ;) I TOTALLY know what you mean about people who just don't "get" the whole weight/food issue. My sister-in-law who also deals with the whole weight thing (and is my rock when discussing food, like your friend) had some skinny chick say to her at a business dinner, "You know, if you want to lose weight, you should just eat less and exercise more!". Um, yeah, like that is something she doesn't know!! There's so much more to it, otherwise the entire population would be thin, duh!

Take care,
PSGPearShapedGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12040518148934004994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4825171977250439280.post-54502649248141847342007-04-25T10:20:00.000-05:002007-04-25T10:20:00.000-05:00I love what you said about people just not getting...I love what you said about people just not getting it!!! I have met very few people like us who can get true bliss from simply discussing a great piece of cake, or really appreciate the will-power it takes to say NOOO to that cake. When you love food as we do, it's not a simple task to politely say no thanks, I'll pass, when what you really wanna do it take the whole cake and a big fork and be alone to finsh it off. You are doing great, I read you're blog daily, and can't wait to see your numbers DOWN this week. Hope we can go for a hike this weekend.
SDAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
