My first OP weekend in SOO long! It has seriously been about 3 or 4 months since I've stayed within my points on the weekend! Of course I did save up my 35 flex points and I ended up using them all but still! I counted every point and I watched my portions. I even said no to cookies at our course on Sunday (I had one later but I counted it and it was good!)
Nothing too eventful to report about the weekend. We rented a few movies and did a little shopping but other than that it was pretty low key. I got together with a few girls on Saturday night and stayed away from the wine and junk food...somehow. A friend of mine is getting married and asked me to be in the wedding, which is always a surprise and I felt very honored. I am the maid of honor in a wedding in April, Scott's in a wedding in August and I'm in another wedding in September. I just picked out my dress for the April wedding...let me know what you think. It's going to be a black and white wedding so my dress is black, which is great because I can wear it again!
In other news, I am starting my new workout plan today and I'm actually pretty excited about it. Today is 15 mins warm up cardio and then I'm checking out the 45 min Body Sculpt class. If all these weddings are coming up, I better get in shape so I can look hot in my bridesmaid dresses!
Short and sweet today.....How was your weekend?? Everyone back on track now and ready to get rid of the extra Holiday pounds?

hi!! weddings are always great motivation to get into shape. i'm not in any this year but i have two to attend so i'm going to try to get back into fighting shape. you know there is always an unspoken competition with those things, who has the nicest dress, who has lost/gained weight. girls are silly but it's true! so i'm working drop some lbs before these weddings start in april.
ReplyDeletei had an OP weekend too, it was weird but good! i usually always use flex points, indulge in wine/appetizers at some point and this weekend i just said "no thanks" and it surprised people....they kept offering...."are you sure you don't want a glass of wine/beer?" i like that i surprised them and it felt good :)
have fun at your workout, it sounds great!!
First of all, you rock for having an OP weekend, it's always hard, but a great feeling when it's said and done. Just remember how you feel now and it will give you motivation to get through another weekend OP!
ReplyDeleteWAY TO GO on the weekend, that's awesome! It DOES feel good, doesn't it? I certainly didn't follow any type of plan this weekend, but am back on track today and already I feel good. It's all in my mind, I know I haven't gotten rid of any holiday weight but it feels good knowing that i am GOING to.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is beautiful and it's awesome that it's black, it's always hard buying a gorgeus dress and not being able to wear it again!
love the dress! one can never have too many black dresses... ;o)
ReplyDeletei've been back on track for almost a week and we'll see how wednesday's weigh-in goes... i feels great to be OP again but i did enjoy my holidays... :o)
WOWEE!!!! That is a lot of weddings!! And I LOVE that dress!!! I had looked at the same for a friend of mine's wedding (though she ended up cancelling it!) you will look amazing in it!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome to have an OP weekend as well!!!! I always find the weekends hard, but it looks like you worked it NO PROBLEM!!!
OMG that's the bridesmaids dress that my girls are wearing for my wedding in September, only in "lettuce"! I love that dress. I haven't yet seen the back of it though. So I guess you know what I think of the dress if I picked it for my wedding!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the OP weekend! That's soooo great! Yay!!!!
Nice reminder - I've got weddings this summer. Motivation! I think that dress is cute (though I do like that cranberry color), you always try to "reuse" bridesmaid dresses but it never really works. But this might work for next Christmas or something. But of course you'll need some major alterations by then, down 3 sizes or so right? ;) (that makes it sound like I'm calling you fat and that's not what I mean but you know that right?)
ReplyDeleteTHat's a beautiful dress.. I'm sure you will look great in it!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your OP weekend! My weekdays and weekends are all the same, so I pretty much do the same thing every day. Makes it easy for me to stay on track. I like the dress you picked out. You will look great in it. Keep up with your workouts and eating OP and those pounds will be gone before you know it!
ReplyDeleteOhh la la.. I picked out the same dress for my friends wedding in May! Except mine is going to be Eggplant. Great minds think alike!
ReplyDeleteYou are going to looove your new mattress...and having a queen! Andrew and I also had a double, and even though I love to cuddle.. having the little bit of extra space is amazing! AND not feeling him move is kinda weird too... but I love it.
WoooHooOoOOo!! An OP weekend!! Fantastic Carolyn!! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your class!
That is awesome that you were able to stay OP all weekend ... great job!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job at staying OP this weekend. Doesn't it feel good to be back in control?
ReplyDeleteYou are doing awesome!
Great job Carolyn. Love the dress. Black will look awesome on you.
ReplyDeleteOh i'd never thought I'd be so excited to see a monday! Finally, the kids are back in school and the husband's back to (full) work schedule. I really feel like I'm starting back full swing today.
ReplyDeleteAnd good job on the weekend!
Awesome OP weekend! I can't remember the last time I had one of those.
ReplyDeleteVery cute dress! You're gonna look amazing in it.
The dress is very cute, and it is awesome that you're trying the body sculpting class. Keep busting those out and your upper body will look gorgeous in your dress.
ReplyDeleteLove it! The dress that is. Props on the weekend, MAN is that hard!
